Eva Brown, Director/Teacher

Eva BrownOriginally from New York, Eva is a lifelong musician and has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for the past 10 years. She holds a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology and studied Psychology and Music during her undergraduate education. While in New York City, she worked with the preschool special education population and did significant private tutoring and music instruction. Eva has a deep appreciation for the arts, especially fostering participation at a young age. She began playing violin at age 4 and over the past few decades has learned the flute, trumpet, piano, guitar, clarinet, bass, ukulele, and accordion. She is passionate about focusing on a child’s strengths, whatever they may be, and teaching through creative mediums and experiential learning. Outside of work, Eva loves spending time playing music, running, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog.

 

 

Becky Pitts, Teacher

Becky PittsOriginally from Texas, Becky holds a degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. She has played the piano for 28 years and teaches piano lessons for beginner to early intermediate levels. She plays the guitar and has sung with many choirs and musical groups. Becky is passionate about arts education for children and is thrilled to be teaching at the KinderArts Preschool. She has 14 years of experience working with children in various organizations. Her areas of interest include: music, drama, puppetry, creative movement, kinesthetic learning, literature, and art.
